These Terms of Service (“Agreement”) govern the use of the website www.Meato.in (“Website”), the Meato mobile application (“Meato App”), and any associated mobile or other online services provided by Meato Foodtech (collectively referred to as the “Platform”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to comply with the following terms. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the Platform.
1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with these Terms of Service. If you do not accept these terms, you should not use the Platform. MEATO FOODTECH reserves the right to modify, amend, or replace these terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on the Platform, and by continuing to use the Platform, you agree to be bound by the updated terms.
2. ELIGIBILITY
You confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement, and are capable of understanding and complying with its terms. If you are under 18, you must use the Platform only under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
3. USER ACCOUNT REGISTRATION
- Account Creation: In order to use certain features of the Platform, you must create a user account. By registering, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including your password.
- Security of Account: You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account, whether or not you have authorized them. If you believe that your account has been compromised, you must notify MEATO FOODTECH immediately.
4. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION AND AVAILABILITY
- Product Listing and Prices: All products available for sale on the Platform are described in detail, including price, weight, and packaging. Prices are subject to change without prior notice. In the event of a price discrepancy, the prevailing price will apply.
- Product Availability: MEATO FOODTECH strives to ensure the availability of products as per listings. However, product availability is subject to change. Products may become unavailable, or the product
quantity may vary due to various factors such as stock, order cancellations, or production issues. MEATO FOODTECH reserves the right to modify or discontinue products without notice. - Product Qualityy: MEATO FOODTECH ensures the highest quality standards for all perishable products. All products are packed and delivered with the utmost care, but it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure proper storage after delivery. Please read all storage and usage instructions provided on the packaging.
5. ORDERING AND PAYMENT
- Placing an Order: After browsing and selecting products on the Platform, you may place an order by following the checkout process. By confirming an order, you are agreeing to purchase the products at the stated price.
- Order Modifications: MEATO FOODTECH reserves the right to modify or cancel any order prior to delivery, especially if an error is discovered in the order details or due to unavailability of products. You will be notified of any changes.
- Payment Methods: Payments for products and services on the Platform can be made through accepted methods such as credit cards, debit cards, online wallets, and other payment systems. You agree to provide accurate payment information. MEATO FOODTECH will not be liable for any payment errors due to incorrect details provided.
6. DELIVERY AND SHIPPING
- Delivery Locations: MEATO FOODTECH delivers products to specific regions. Please check the delivery eligibility based on your location during the order process. Delivery is available only in select locations.
- Shipping Fees and Taxes: Shipping fees and applicable taxes will be calculated at the time of checkout. These charges are subject to change depending on the delivery area, order volume, and special offers.
- Delivery Timeframe: MEATO FOODTECH aims to deliver products within the time frame indicated at checkout. However, delivery times may vary due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, you will be informed of any delays.
- Incorrect Deliveries: If the quantity or product delivered differs from your order, MEATO FOODTECH will correct the issue and either issue a refund or replace the product, depending on the situation.
- Perishable Products: The products sold on the Platform are perishable. As a result, it is crucial to store them
properly and consume them by the expiration date to ensure quality. MEATO FOODTECH is not
responsible for deterioration caused by mishandling after delivery.
7. RETURNS AND REFUNDS
- Return Policy: Since the products sold on the Platform are perishable, they cannot be returned unless they are damaged or defective at the time of delivery. Please inspect your order immediately upon arrival.
- Refund Process:If you believe that the product is damaged or defective, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery. Upon verification, MEATO FOODTECH will provide a refund or replacement as appropriate.
8. USER CONDUCT AND RESTRICTIONS
- Prohibited Activities: By using the Platform, you agree not to:
- Post or transmit content that is defamatory, illegal, harmful, abusive, or offensive.
- Engage in any activity that may compromise the security, availability, or functionality of the Platform.
- Use the Platform for unauthorized commercial purposes, including but not limited to solicitation, spamming, or hacking.
- Impersonate any individual or entity, or mislead others regarding the source of content.
- Content Ownership: All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, product descriptions, and images, are the intellectual property of MEATO FOODTECH or its licensors. You may not use, modify, or distribute such content without prior consent from MEATO FOODTECH.
9. PRIVACY POLICY
Your use of the Platform is governed by MEATO FOODTECH’s Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the Platform, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal data as outlined in the Privacy Policy.
10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
- No Liability for Damages: To the maximum extent allowed by law, MEATO FOODTECH will not be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Platform or the purchase of products, including but not limited to loss of profit, loss of data, or interruption of business.
- Product Warranty: MEATO FOODTECH makes no warranties or representations regarding the quality or fitness of products beyond the terms specified on the product packaging.
11. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MEATO FOODTECH, its affiliates, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your use of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
12. FORCE MAJEURE
MEATO FOODTECH will not be liable for any delay or failure in performance due to unforeseen events beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, governmental actions, war, strikes, and technical failures.
13. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION
- Jurisdiction: This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Vadodara, Gujarat.
- Arbitration: Any dispute or claim arising from this Agreement will be resolved through arbitration in Vadodara, Gujarat, under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The arbitration proceedings will be conducted in English.
14. AMENDMENTS TO THE TERMS
MEATO FOODTECH reserves the right to amend, modify, or revise these Terms of Service at any time. You are advised to regularly review the terms to stay informed of any changes. Continued use of the Platform after any amendments constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
